Scheduling an appointment via phone or online is always best, but we do accept walk-ins on a case by case basis depending on appointment availability in that moment.

Yes, we accept plans from most major insurance companies. Please contact your insurance provider or local Epic Vision office to ensure that your doctor accepts your insurance company and specific insurance plan.

Yes, you can use your HSA or FSA to pay for eligible eye care services and vision correction products such as glasses, lens, and contacts.

Both. Routine Vision Wellness Exams to determine glasses or contact lens prescriptions and examination to rule out any eye disease are typically covered by vision insurance. Medical Eye issues (such as Dry Eye, Glaucoma, Cataracts, Red Eyes, etc.) will be billed to medical insurance.

Eye Exams

A comprehensive eye exam is a detailed evaluation of your vision and eye health performed by a licensed eye doctor. It includes various tests to assess visual acuity, detect eye diseases or conditions, and identify early signs of systemic health issues like diabetes or hypertension, making it an essential component of preventative healthcare.

We recommend that adults have their eyes examined once per year. Children and individuals with pre-existing conditions may require more frequent check-ups.

You should expect your eye exam appointment to last about 30-60 minutes, depending on the complexity.

For emergencies, call our office immediately. If it is after hours and no on-call Doctor service phone numbers are given on the answering system, please report to your nearest hospital emergency room or acute care clinic to seek emergency medical care.

Yes, we provide same-day appointments for urgent eye emergencies.

After hours, we recommend calling 911 and/or contacting an emergency medical facility or an urgent care clinic specializing in eye care.

Avoid rubbing your eye and rinse it gently with clean water or saline solution. Seek immediate care if discomfort persists.

Contact our office or visit an emergency room immediately, as this could indicate a serious condition.

Blurry vision can be the result of a number of issues including refractive errors, dry eyes, or eye diseases. An eye exam will help us diagnose the exact reason for blurry vision. Please seek emergency care if it’s sudden or persistent.

Vision Correction

We offer a variety of brands and lens types. You can order and shop our available contact lens using the link below. A current, valid prescription is needed to order.

Replacement frequency depends on the type of lenses; daily disposables should be replaced daily, while others have specific schedules. Your Epic Vision doctor can answer any questions you have about your specific lens.

Yes, we offer specialty lenses for conditions like astigmatism and dry eyes.

Yes, you can order contact lenses directly through our office or via our online portal.

Not replacing lenses on schedule can increase the risk of eye infections, irritation, reduced comfort and even permanent vision loss.

We carry a wide range of eyeglass frames, including designer and budget-friendly options. Visit your local Epic Vision Eye Center to see our collection.

You may need an update if you experience blurred vision, visual discomfort, headaches, or difficulty focusing. Your yearly eye exam will help determine if updating your prescription will improve your vision. If changes occur before your yearly exam please contact our office for an exam sooner.

Bring your glasses to our office. We will adjust them for you at no cost. If broken, we will attempt to repair them for you.
